3 vehicles carnapped in Davao

THREE vehicles were carnapped in three separate incidents in Davao City on Thursday, all under the area of responsibility of the Buhangin police. The incidents happened in a span of two hours.

The first victim is identified as Dante Alon, 52, plantation manager of Comval Tropical Fruits Inc. and a resident of Ciudad de Esperanza in Buhangin.

According to Alon, he discovered his Toyota Hilux with plate number LGC-192 was missing at around 5 a.m.

The vehicle is registered under the name of the company.

The second victim is identified as Stanley Tudio, 32, area supervisor of Japan Tobacco International Philippines and a resident of Emily Homes in Cabantian, Buhangin.

Tudio told police his Toyota Avanza with plate number NMQ-449 was missing at around 5:30 a.m. The vehicle is also registered under his company.

The third victim is one Antonio Teh, a resident of Insular Village, Lanang.

Based on the statement of Mary Joy dela Victoria, Teh's personal assistant, they discovered the Fortuner (with no plate available and set for registration) was missing at around 7 a.m. The vehicle was parked inside Insular Village.

According to the complainants, their vehicles also contained important documents and valuables.

Other police precincts in neighboring towns in Davao Region have been informed of the carnapping incidents.
