P78,000 lost in another robbery

SOME P78,000 worth of valuables were lost in separate robbery incidents in Davao City on October 12.

The first incident happened in Barangay Mintal, Tugbok District around noon inside the house of Jospehine C. Ubas, 29, a real estate broker.

Based on initial investigation conducted by Police Officer 3 Narciso N. Poto Jr. of Tugbok police, the victim left her house to buy some construction materials. When she returned home, the door and the window of the house were already destroyed.

The robbers took one unit camera worth P31,500 and one mobile phone worth P1,500.

The police said the robbers gained entry by destroying the screen of one window and forcibly pulling out the doorknob of the house.

The second incident happened inside the house of Shiela Bola Ibra, 35, from Kabacan, North Cotabato, and a transient resident of Ciudad Esperanza, Cabantian, Buhangin. The incident happened around 5:35 p.m.

Based on initial investigation conducted by Senior Police Officer 3 Joseph Limbaco of Buhangin police, the robbers took a laptop worth P38,000, a cellular phone worth P4,000, one black gold necklace worth P3,800, and a school bag.

Police said the robbers gained entry by climbing at the back wall of the house.

The police are now conducting further investigation to identify and arrest the perpetrators.
