Heavy rain causes flooding in parts of Davao City

Heavy rain on Wednesday evening caused flooding in parts of Davao City, the city disaster risk reduction and management office said.

In a post on its Facebook account, the City Government noted "medium to heavy rain" with moderate thunderstorms prevailing over downtown Davao.

The Calinan, Marilog and Paquibato areas are experiencing light to moderate rains, it added.

Flooding was reported in: Victoria Plaza area, JP Laurel Bajada, GSIS Matina, Bonifacio Street, Ecowest Drive, portion of Tulip Street near SM, Indonesian Consulate, and Times Beach.
