EVERYONE who watched the concert entitled "One night, One passion...Music" on October 25 was overwhelmingly happy, proud, and ecstatic.

However, those who failed to watch had a biggest regret of their lives and still hoped that the next concert will be made soonest.

The first-ever convergence of great vocalists, instrumentalists and chorale from Davao City under the newest organization Association of Practicing Musicians in Davao (APMD) performed at its very best before 500 guests at the Grand Ballroom of Royal Mandaya Hotel.

The excited audience who avidly listened to each and every part of a varied genre of music was left stunned, wide-eyed and open-mouthed.

Indeed, this concert was labeled as successful by a lot of Dabawenyos, who for a long time, had been bored with pure, classical music and who have set aside this very type in one of music in one little corner. Amazingly, that night, everyone just loved it and their soul was moved with passion.

APMDCI participants like Noel Garcia, Menchie Gomez, Ayn Marie Dimaya, Jan Johan Mendoza, Dharixblue Villamor, Irish Juliet Aguda, Valene lagunilla and Neal Keith Gonzales, Voices of the South Children's Choir, Davao Chamber Singers, St. Joseph Chorale Ensemble, The Musikademy Scholars, and the Davao String Quartet would like to express their deepest gratitude to those who gave their time and support to make this concert a significant and a memorable one. Your presence showed that you support the musicians' cause in promoting fine music and the cultural arts in Davao City.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank our major sponsors, who made this concert possible - Atty. Dinah Tolentino-Fuentes, Jose Lim IV, Toyota Davao, Toyota GenSan, Toyota Tagum, Cong. Maricar Zamora, Cong. Mylene Albano, Dra. Luz Acosta, the first Mindanao Stem Cell Therapy, Davao Doctors Hospital Dumoy Satellite, Davao Medical School Foundation, Inc., Scherzo Music Learning Center, Atty. Ferriza Isaguirre & family, Tio Cococ's Bar & Resto and the unwavering inspiration of Dr. Jurilla Tan and Dra. Erna Hilario-Dimaya.
