Davao Light upgrades mobile app to power up customer experience

Customers of Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. can now view their monthly electricity bill at their most convenient time through the MobileAP app.
In 2020, The AboitizPower Distribution Utilities (APDU) Group came up with an innovation to provide customers with easier access to their accounts through the mobile application called MobileAP, read as “Mobile A-P”.
This app is available for use by all customers of AboitizPower Distribution Utilities, particularly Davao Light and Power Co. Inc., Visayan Electric Co., Cotabato Light and Power Co., and Subic Enerzone.
Aside from allowing customers to check their monthly electricity bill, MobileAP allows them to view their payment history for the past twelve (12) months, see consumption charts to help monitor energy consumption, register multiple Davao Light accounts, and check the list of payment options.
“Our customers’ satisfaction is our top priority that is why Davao Light is continuously making improvements in MobileAP. This year, more features will be added so that it will be more engaging and useful for the users,” said Davao Light Assistant Vice President for Customer Services Group Arnold Arsolon.
Arsolon also added that MobileAP will not only provide convenience but will also help customers to refrain from going out and be safe from COVID-19 since the mobile application can give them some assistance.
MobileAP was also upgraded recently to support lower versions of Android such as version 6.0, as well as to improve its features to protect customer data such as stricter account validation. The following were also applied: automatic logout when the app is idle or running in the background, display of the updated payment methods, and update of the Davao Light Privacy Statement.
Davao Light encourages its customers to download MobileAP which is available for free in Play Store or App Store by typing “MobileAP” or “Davao Light” in the search bar.
