15-minute power cut in Davao City set on June 16

THE Davao Light and Power Corporation Incorporated (DLPCI) will conduct a 15-minute power interruption on Friday, June 16, anytime between 12:01 a.m. to 1 a.m., affecting customers connected to its Davao Line 1.

The service disruption will be necessary to conduct upgrading works at Davao Light's Davao Line 1, affecting Bangkal, Matina, Ecoland, Maa and Sta. Ana Substations.

Specifically affected are customers from Talomo Bridge in Ulas going to Downtown including Bangkal, Catalunan Grande, Matina, Ecoland, Maa, San Pedro Square, Boulevard and Chinatown.

The DLPCI apologized for the inconvenience brought about by the scheduled power interruption. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances
where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.
