Launching of Sun Magic Zone Mindanao in Davao City

Our very own associate editor Hader Glang of Zamboanga Today together with Allen Abastillas, senior reporter of Zamboanga Times, Ely Dumaboc, reporter of Net 25, and Joel Sanson, station manager or RMN flew to Davao City last January 20, 2011. The four Zamboanga mediamen were invited by Sun Cellular company to cover the launching of Sun Magic Zone Mindanao held at Microtel Inn & Suites along Damosa Gateway Complex Mamay Road, Lanang.
Sun Magic Zone Mindanao is a prepaid SIM specifically designed to make the southern Philippines more accessible for its locals by offering unlimited call and text services within the region.
At a press conference, which was attended by mediamen from cities of Davao, General Santos, Zamboanga, Bacolod, and other parts in Mindanao, offficials of Sun Cellular company called on mobile phone users to start calling and texting their family, friends and loved ones who reside in Mindanao as it is made a whole lot easier with the wide coverage and most affordable rates brough about by the Sun Magic Zone Mindanao.
Lawyer William S. Pamintuan, Sun Cellular SVP-Legal Services & HRD Corporate Secretary Head, Digitel One; and Ms. Joan C. Dueñas, Sun Cellular VP Marketing Prepade bared that Sun Cellular targets to put up 400 more new cellsites this year throughout Mindanao, including Basilan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi and ARMM in line with its Sun Magic Zone Mindanao.
