MMDA rescue team sent to Davao Oriental

Another elite rescue team of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has been sent to Mindanao to assist in the clearing operations in areas severely affected by typhoon "Pablo". Seven personnel from the MMDA's Public Safety Office were sent to Cateel in Davao Oriental early morning on Saturday. The MMDA earlier sent two teams, comprised of personnel from MMDA’s Road Emergency Group and Public Safety office, rescue staff, nurses, and medical services assistants, to New Bataan in Compostela Valley, to assist in the relief efforts and bring water purifier for the victims of the typhoon.
The Malacañang and Maynilad Water Services are also expected to send water purifiers to the areas devastated by Pablo.
