Leading restaurant-coffeshop, Café France, launched Thursday its first venture outside Luzon, treating customers with a “madayaw” French cuisine, in Davao City. Enya Baltazar, business unit head of Café France, disclosed that the company opened not one, but three stores, in the heart of Davao City in time for the weeklong celebration of the city’s Kadayawan Festival.

“Café France is now here (in Davao) to offer fresh and healthy food choices. We go further by providing people not only a place for a coffee break, but a venue where they can hang out, and spend time with friends and family,” she said.

Café France branches are strategically located in the heart of Davao City for an easier-to-reach coffee experience.

Baltazar said a store is situated at the 2nd floor of the Manila Bulletin Building along J.P Rizal Street, just a few blocks away from the city hall, while the other two are located at the upper ground floor and The Peak at the fourth level of Gaisano Mall in Bajada, offering a place for people from all walks of life to relax and unwind.

As promised, she said, Café France offers a healthy menu from sunup to sun down. “We have studied out the items in our menu, carefully checking its nutritional values for those craving for a hearty breakfast, a nourishing meal for lunch, a nutrition-packed merienda, and a freshly-served dinner,” she said.

Baltazar said she expects the three stores of Café France to bring new flavors to the rather rich culture of Davao. “The arrival of Café France in Davao is definitely something to look forward to as it brings a new coffee shop experience and a new way to enjoy life,” she said.
