PAGASA weather forecaster Fernando Cada said the winds the weather disturbance was bringing have become weaker, but there is still a possibility that LPA will still bring rains over the Eastern Visayas, Davao Region, Caraga, and the province of Misamis Oriental.
Cada added the weather disturbance has a slim chance of re-intensifying.
PAGASA said the LPA was spotted 350 kilometers east northeast of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur as of 4 a.m. Thursday.
Due to the LPA, Eastern Visayas, Davao Region, Caraga, and Misamis Oriental will have cloudy skies with scattered light to moderate rains and thunderstorms.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rains or thunderstorms, mostly in the afternoon or evening.
